A new year, a new beginning. I just love this period of the year. I always feel that my whole world (and myself) is going to change dramatically this new year.. and even if of course not true, I just love the thrilling feeling. Just before Christmas, my boyfriend and I went to visit Bavaria and its wonderful castles (one of which is so charming that Walt Disney copied it to create the castle of the Sleeping Beauty!).
The first thing we did upon arriving however was to take a horse drawn sleigh tour of the area as I thought it was a charming way to get a little feel and preview what was waiting for us this weekend..

Why not do something completely new this winter and try.. sleeping in a tree house?
Inspired by the film ”The Tree Lover” (a tale of 3 city men who want to go back to their roots and build a tree house together), a genius couple indeed had the wonderful idea to build tree houses in Laponia, Sweden and turned them into a hotel: the Tree Hotel!
The 5 Tree Houses (and the Tree Sauna!) are located in the middle of a magical pine forest and close to the Lule River.
