A little wave of hysteria seized the Conde Nast College yesterday as male supermodel David Gandy (to his own confession, usually referred to as the “white pant guy” from the Dolce Gabbana Light Blue ad) came to give a talk at our school.
Interviewed by fashion priestess Hilary Alexander, David shared his insight on the fashion industry, male modelling and beyond, before taking the time to take a picture with every single one of us.
When asked if he had any tip to help me look better on these tricky bikinis pictures this summer, he (unfortunately) answered: “one thing only: go to the gym”.
We all loved his honesty, down to earth attitude that night.. a true gentleman!
Here are a few snaps of the event and its well-heeled guests.
Cucumber lime chilli lollipops, tabasco oysters and champagne were all part of the action at the flagship store of Sebago last night as fashion bloggers, creative directors and stylists were invited to mark the launch of the new SS14 Sebago Pure Collection.
Here are a few snaps of the event and its fabulous guests!
So.. that’s it. The Salone del Mobile 2013 Edition started yesterday in Milan and il tutti quanti of the design world is here. The week is jammed packed with design exhibitions and happenings and creative exchanges are flowing in the air of every street.
Last night, to celebrate the start of this exceptional week, I went to the Van Cleef & Arpels boutique to meet a team of students of Design for applied arts from the Creative Academy, the prestigious school of the Richemont Group which forms the elite designers who will work on the jewellery, watches and fashion accessories of the companies of the group (Van Cleef & Arpels, Cartier or IWC among others..).
Inspired by the universe of Van Cleef & Arpels, the students of the Creative Academy, in collaboration with the Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d’Arte, created an exhibition entitled “Les Fleurs Enchantées – Blooming Créativité“. A unique opportunity to meet these talented students and get to see the iconic collections of the house: Alhambra, the Perlée.. and my absolute favourite: the Between The Fingers rings (yes, Van Cleef does “between the fingers rings” too.. and they are absolutely faaabulous!). Have a look!
The exhibition runs from 10.30 till 19.00 from 9th to 14th April 2013

Last weekend I was invited to a gorgeous party in Bergamo, in the countryside of Milan, to celebrate the wedding of two very good friends of mine.
The newly wed couple is Italiano-American. The wedding took place in an old Italian castle mixing references to both American and Italian weddings (with for example a traditional Bergamese buffet with polenta and cured meat.. but also a big American BBQ on the lawn!).
The bride had suggested a dress code for the day (polka dot or flowers!) Continue reading
Exciting news! The other day, my friend Ilaria and I went to the Tv studio of La3, a Tv channel here in Italy, to appear on their talent show! I was only appearing as a “model” for Ilaria who was showing off her incredible talent and skills as a make up artist. Our appearance in itself is very short.. we just had a few minutes to show off how to realise an evening make up.. Here are all the pictures (and details) of how everything went! Continue reading
A very special Fashion Night took place in Milan last Tuesday for the occasion of the UN Universal Children Day (taking place each year on 20 November).
Entitled “Models for a day“, the event selected 10 chic and kick-ass professional women from Milan to model for the night with dresses from emerging Italian designer Laura Mancini and precious jewelry from jewellery maker Rubinia. All profits were sent to the foundation Bianca Garavaglia which fights children tumours.
Sumptuous feather masks, evening gowns and precious stones where mixing with hard professional skills Continue reading
Yesterday night was the Campari Calendar Reveal Party, i.e. the party which Campari organised to reveal their new calendar for 2013. What I knew was that Penelope Cruz was the “star” of the calendar.. what I did not know is that she was going to come to the party as well!!
A friend of mine works as a set costume designer in NYC (hence works with many stars on set) Continue reading
Last weekend, I went to Paris or more exactly in the countryside of Paris to attend a wedding. The reception took place in the beautiful Chateau de Pontarme, near Chantilly and its famous horse races.. it was a real fairy tale wedding! Continue reading
Good morning ladies! Today I am very excited cause I want to share with you pictures of the amazing wedding I attended the other weekend in Puglia, South of Italy (properly the ‘heel’ of Italy!). The place of the reception was spectacular, the night hot, the buffet abundant in true “South of Italy” style.. it really was a magical night. Vive les maries!
Ladies, I am now back from one more absolutely faaabulous wedding in the south of Italy. Hopefully I will be able to show you some pictures very soon.. but in the meantime, this post is dedicated to Continue reading
As promised, here are now the pictures of the wedding I attended to last weekend in Umbria (between Tuscany and Rome). It took place in an old medieval castle surrounded by mountains, on the menu Italian wine & truffles (speciality of the area).. Needless to say that I am now suffering a post-wedding depression ;(
Here are now the pictures of my night at the Villa Inrocks in Cannes last weekend. French magazine Les Inrockuptibles together with Audit set up, for the time of the Cannes Festival, a pop up party place Continue reading

Last night, I attended Venduto 3, the big art happening which Vogue Italy was talking about in their ‘what people are talking about‘ section (read article here).
If I had to choose my favourite party on the boat, it would have to be.. Pirates’ Night! The reason I loved it so much is because it came.. by surprise! Continue reading
