David Gandy goes back to school.. my school!!!

conde nast college

A little wave of hysteria seized the Conde Nast College yesterday as male supermodel David Gandy (to his own confession, usually referred to as the “white pant guy” from the Dolce Gabbana Light Blue ad) came to give a talk at our school.

Interviewed by fashion priestess Hilary Alexander, David shared his insight on the fashion industry, male modelling and beyond, before taking the time to take a picture with every single one of us.

When asked if he had any tip to help me look better on these tricky bikinis pictures this summer, he (unfortunately) answered: “one thing only: go to the gym”.

We all loved his honesty, down to earth attitude that night.. a true gentleman!

Here are a few snaps of the event and its well-heeled guests.

A Summer Weekend in the Valley of Munster!

summer in the mountain

Last weekend I went with some friends in the valley of Munster, a lovely mountain range in Alsace, in the east of France.
Mountain lakes, glaciers craters, cows, horses, bluebells, daffodil Vosges pansies and delectable local products were all part of the scenery.
A feast for the eyes and culinary senses! Have a look!

The Opening Party of the White Summer Lounges of Ruinart!

ruinart white summer milan

This week in Milan took place the opening party of the White Summer of Ruinart!

The event took place on the roofdeck of the hotel Magna Pars Suites, a 5 star hotel located near via Tortona, the design district of Milan. The hotel was built in an ex-perfume factory. Each of the 28 suites of the hotel was created after a specific perfume! A very cool new concept!

Ruinart was celebrating the launch of its “White Summer”, a serie of aperitivi where champagne lovers will be able to taste Ruinart‘s cult product – the Blanc de Blancs – in special circumstances: each White Lounge will propose to accompany the champagne tasting with a menu specially developed to complement and exalt the flavours of champagne!

A must try for all champagne lovers this summer!

So I guess right now right here – while waiting for my connection flight to Moscow in Zurich and trying to sober up from all the rose I had during past 5 days – is the best time to tell you my story of Cannes Lions
