Last night in Portofino

For our last night in Portofino, we decided to go check out Santa Margherita Ligure (or as locals say “Santa Marga”). Santa Marga is a little sea town close to Portofino, full of great restaurants & bars but substantially cheaper than Portofino! The whole city is buzzing at night with everyone hanging out in the lovely pedestrian streets, around the cafes and restaurants, round the main piazzetta which has some live music, around the night market along the harbour or in the shops which seem to be open all night long! Santa Margha is also home to the famous Covo di Nord Est, one of Europe’s most famous and beautiful clubs (it is located within the foundations of a never ended castle.. and the view on the sea is really impressive, especially at night). My favourite addresses? The Miami cafe which teams up with Covo di Nord Est and Divino, a little wine lounge with amazing jazzy music.

My look for this evening? A black & gold tunique from Antik Batik, my favourite jewellery and red lipstick!

Tomorrow: off to Paris for the 14th of July (Bastille Day) celebrations!
