Bastille Day Celebrations in Paris (& my M6 interview!)

I was in Paris yesterday for the 14th July Celebrations. The whole city was ‘invaded’ by our army, which marched on the beautiful Champs Elysees, from the Arc de Triomphe to the Place de la Concorde. The army was super cool because they let people ‘play’ with their trucks and equipment!

I also got interviewed by French TV Channel M6 re my impressions on the show!!

It was strange to see all these military planes in the sky of Paris.. A bit of an ‘Apocalyps now” feeling at home!

In the evening, all the firefighters of Paris were opening their doors to the public for dancing balls (with music from wartime/retro music).. A typical experience which I would recommend to everyone!

The night ended with a somptuous firework by the Eiffel Tower. Good night everyone!
