Why not do something completely new this winter and try.. sleeping in a tree house?
Inspired by the film ”The Tree Lover” (a tale of 3 city men who want to go back to their roots and build a tree house together), a genius couple indeed had the wonderful idea to build tree houses in Laponia, Sweden and turned them into a hotel: the Tree Hotel!
The 5 Tree Houses (and the Tree Sauna!) are located in the middle of a magical pine forest and close to the Lule River.
Each designed by Scandinavia’s leading architects respecting tough environmental rules (and hence you will find combustion toilets and water-efficient sinks in your room..), the tree houses are suspended 4-6m above the ground and are accessible by ramp, bridge or electric stairs.
A real human dream turned true.. I do believe it is time for another adventure! ;)
