As promised, here are now the pictures of the Press Day which Essence organised for Milanese beauty bloggers the other week. As you know, I got quite impressed by this German brand, launched in 2002, which does the smallest prices I saw so far in the market for extraordinary quality. Their explanation is that they put all their cash into the quality of the stuff they sell instead of costly magazine, tv advertisement, celebrity endorsement etc. They also do not test their products on animals. Here are the pictures of the lovely Press day they organised to present us their products (and at which even a dermatologist was present to answer any question we had re allergies, ingredients etc!), together with a selection of a few products which I thought should be lots of fun to use this summer!
The event was in a lovely showroom in Milan with a sort of little veranda in the back.
They installed one of the stand which is normally in their selling point featuring all their products. We could choose and try this way any product we were interesting in.
These creamish blushes immediately caught my eyes!
Called “Souffle Touch“, they are available in 3 colours: Fresh Abricot, Frozen Strawberry, and Cold Wildberry. The colours seem quite intense like this but don’t worry cause they do not come out too intense once on the skin (you only need a tiny tiny touch) if your skin is already a bit tanned. The texture is heaven and I love it especially now, in the summer, when it is too hot to wear anything too heavy.
Another product which I found quite clever was the Forget it! 3 in 1 Concealer. You can use the colours individually (use pink for dark circles, green for redness and beige for blemishes) or just try to mix them together a bit to create the right coverage for you.
I got very impressed by all their nail polishes. Some really nice and fun colours, fast drying.. all you need to have fun this summer… at 1.59eur!
Just so you know: the ‘sequins” nail polish, some will come out very dense and some very light actually.. so better to try it out on your finger with the tester to make sure you get the effect you want.
I also liked these duos of nail polishes. Very daring colours and fun format. You can use one colours on the feet, one for the hands or mix them for ‘nail art effect’.
Lastly, they also have special top coat to create special effect or matt effect on your nails.. but more on this in a later post!
