Dream Hotel in The Black Forest

Last weekend, I abandoned Milan’s crazy Fashion Week parties (by the way, Vieri and Inzaghi spotted at Nobu last Wednesday..:) in order to join my family for a weekend in the Black Forest (Germany)where we celebrated all together my, my mother’s and nephew’s birthday (we are all born during the same two weeks!). The Black Forest embodies everything that one might expect of a German picture book holiday (with a dark pine trees forest, old farmhouses, cuckoo clocks, the famous Black Forest gateaux) and the hotel Bareiss is a dream hotel with a splendid spa, 5 pools, 4 Jacuzzis, a Finnish and bio sauna and steam baths plus a natural swimming pond with a white sandy beach (for their website, click here)!!!

We rapidly changed into our bathing suits to try on the gorgeous Spa (all the guests wander through the hotel in their bathrobe and flipflop.. so cosy: I just loved it!)

In the evening, we tried local delicacies in (one of the many) restaurant of the hotel. While serving dinner, waiters come to bring roses to the ladies and chocolate to the men! So thoughtful and charming..

Lastly, these are the gifts I received for my birthday.. A new smaller silver camera (cause a Reflex is soo big to carry with you all the time!), a zebra Ungaro beach towel (very Italian style) and gooorgeous new gloves from the very French chic Maison Fabre (for their website click here).
