Last night, I attended Venduto 3, the big art happening which Vogue Italy was talking about in their ‘what people are talking about‘ section (read article here).
Organised by the very cool Venduto organisation, it was taking place in a huge warehouse a little bit outside the center of Milan. 15 young artists (both Italian and international) were invited to ‘invade’ this huge space to feature their art. The feeling was all very much of the sort of underground parties which you can see in Berlin or NYC.. I loved it!
I knew I would love it immediately when I saw that, right at the entrance of the warehouse, they had put a car with some spray paint for us to use!!! Always dreamt of tagging something.. so cool that those guys thought about trying to turn us as ‘artists’ for one night too!
Inside, as I was telling you, were several artists showcasing their art live..
I had to have a cigar.. cause you know.. makes you see art better (the mojito too..) ;)
I liked the Plastic Puppetz from Maurato, an engineer who does miracle with plastic (website here)
Btw, this is what I wore for the occasion..
A close up on my new Vivienne Westwood plastic/rain boots.. will be talking more about them as I think it is THE rain boots to have..
Later on, they turned the lights down and several Djs starting to play and the whole warehouse turned into a mega party!
I loved the light effects of the night..
and the light effect of the weird jedis who invaded the bar..
And still the art happenings went on and on.. Amazing night!
What are you up to this weekend?
