An “Absolutely Faaabulous” Afternoon Tea

Buonasera everyone!

I am back in Milano and, as promised, here are a few pics from my trip in London. Starting with the amazingly cute afternoon tea we had for the hen party of a friend.

They had booked a private area just for us, which was hidden behind lace curtains when we arrived.

There was a costume box for everyone to pick up a costume before sitting.

On the menu: cucumber or egg & mayo finger sandwiches, scones, brownies, biscuits.. and muffins with my friend’s name on them!

There was also a “Make a Wish for the Bride-to-Be” box.. a box where everyone had to leave a secret wish for the bride.. which she will only be able to read on the night of her wedding.

The jam and clotted cream for the scones were in heart-shaped pots

Rose and jasmine tea was served inĀ mis-matched porcelain..

And finally… a pic of one of us.. not the easiest costume to eat ;)

That’s it for today. London adventures to be continued tomorrow. Night night!

This looks right up my alley!!! I adore the setting, what was served and HOW it was served – charming! I’ve never heard the term “Hen Party”… must be the equivalent of what we have in the US which is called a Bridal Shower…

I am so honored to be among the fabulous members of our community on your blog roll! Thank you so much for your support!!!
